Genesis 3:5 KJV
For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
To know good and evil was not essentially God’s plan. The serpent is a great conman. He uses our lack of knowledge/wisdom to cause us to go against God. How so? Just as God knows our desires the enemy does too. However; he tempts us with our insecurities. If we take time to examine this passage we find that Eve was alone. We also know that the tempter had to have said the right thing to get his prey to fall. In order to sin against God we have to already have the desire in our hearts to do so. But if we think about the long jeopardy of our sin; we realize that our children suffer from our Fall. Adam and Eve being our first parents caused our nation to know Evil. As for the people who may read this message, as parents we make decisions according to our hearts desires, which doesn’t necessarily align with God’s commands. This causes our children’s destruction. Along with this our children are exposed to things we have no control over. Generational curses are broken when deception is revealed, when the truth is revealed, more importantly when we seek God concerning our insecurities and not allow the enemy to come in during our alone season and speak damnation to our spirit. Stick to the plan of God no matter what it looks like. Never be eager to be greater or less than what God commands. Your greed or failure may alter your purpose and those after you. To know good is to know God. To know evil is disobedience.
